Any Ideas on How To "Get rid of" a Sim?

Here's the story: My sim Joshua works in the medical career and is almost to level 10. He decided it would be a great idea to become friends with his boss to get in good graces and move up quicker. He invited his boss (Andrew Song) to all parties and events he had and soon they became good friends. That was, until Joshua got a promotion.

Joshua got promoted to Infectious Disease Researcher. That same day, Andrew invited him to a party at his house. Joshua went, and Andrew then began to make fun of him, saying he made his party lame and yelling at him for being inappropriate. Joshua finally had enough: he was going to rid of Andrew once and for all.

He bought fireworks and lit them in the house: nothing. He cooked food and stopped in the middle of cooking it: nothing. Then he got kicked out because it was too late. So my question is this: are there any ideas out there that I can use to... annihilate a certain jealous sim? ;)

  • @SharThomp shift click object delete on a sim is something you should do ONLY when you don't want the game to continue to be playable.

Well it depends if you wants to use a cheat.

    Turn on cheats:
    1. Open cheats box, ctrl+shift+c
    2. Type in the prompt: testingcheatsenabled true and press enter
    3. Then, ctrl+shift+click, on desired sims
    4. Click on the option that says 'object' and then click on the option that says 'delete'

The sim may still be in the your relationship tab but you have no contact with him.

And that's a perfect way to corrupt and break your Save.

I've done that on a few townie zombies? Will that corrupt the save?

Full Moon scenario zombies are regular sims, whether they be town residents or homeless NPCs, who are suffering from a temporary condition brought about by the lunar phase. Testingcheats shift-click deleting them only deletes their bodies (zombified or otherwise), but the sim data remains in the game and this can certainly lead to corruption if/when that sim is called upon for something else.

No sims of any kind should be shift-click deleted unless, as said, the player has no intention of saving that game session and playing it forward such as when one might only be setting up poses and scenes for screenshots but not really playing the game.

Use a genie to ensorcel them, then force them to turn scrap into gold until the philosopher's gold backfires turning THEM into gold (worth 60,000), invite them over and drown them in a pool, set them on fire, or any number of other ways to kill a sim.

Though I love the bankrupt idea, @igazor :)
  • Not too long ago, one of my sims was at a party and it was going well. She was getting along with everyone and there were no negative interactions. As she was going home because she was tired, I get a pop up from the host saying, "I'm glad you're leaving, Autumn. Thanks for making my party so lame!" She was just having a nice conversation with him before she left! I ended up using Nraas to Force Kill him, I was so annoyed. :D
