- AFAIK most of the EA worlds aren't deep enough to just plop down a diving lot. But this tutorial might work. I've never followed it myself.
You can find CC worlds with diving lots, and then copy over the IP ones if the CC creator left the diving lots empty. I don't believe the Isla Paradiso dive lots are problematic.
A fixed up save of Isla Paradiso is available on this thread. I played a game with that save for 20+ weeks and did not experience any more lag than usual. If you don't want to use the save file you can follow the tutorial to fix up the world. - Less buggy way to play Isla Paradiso: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/811253/removing-ip-lag/p1
In other worlds, the placement of one or more dive lots would be required. In many EA worlds, especially those released before IP (which is a lot of them), the water is not deep enough to work with or it is only deep enough in certain areas. But in some cases these can be put in. The world designers here might be able to assist or point you in the right direction.
There are also plenty of player-made custom worlds out there, some tropical some not so much, than already include dive lots for those so inclined. :)
