Anyone else have issues disposing dead plants?

When I tell her to dispose plants she walks up to them, and then cancels the actions.

I've tried:
-Different saves
-Different lots
-Different Sims
-Moving the plants
-Rolling back to a different save
-Tried sim with green thumb, tried sim without.

  • Try putting a trash can/recycle bin within reach?

Also, your plants are on a pretty tight grid. I know you said you've tried moving the plants around, but does that include them not being quite so close to their neighboring plants as shown?

Yeah it does, I actually moved some to the back yard with nothing else around them. And she still did it.In my other save, its a very small garden like 5 plants and not so tight and they still do this, even with the recycle bin right next to the gate. Its so odd.

Moved the plant and garbage can:https://youtube.com/watch?v=rpgbEGMiGd8&feature=youtu.be
  • So you don't want to just delete the dead plants in buy mode?

A couple of times, I've had a sim refuse to weed a plant, and an MC reset fixed it. (It might have been a reset of the weeds, not the plant, but it worked one way or the other.) So if you have mods, maybe the same thing will help.

Otherwise, maybe a clean game folder? You never mentioned clearing the cache files, but a new folder would accomplish the same thing, and also clean up some other stuff that might be causing problems. After you move over your existing saves and other content, the plants might decide to be a bit more cooperative.

I ended up moving out of the lot.Decided there was way too many plants to weed and water lol.Took 16 hrs to take care of the garden.Never thought of trying MC reset, I know I could go into buy mode, but I was curious if anyone else had this issue.
