ZeriBlackheart To be clear, now that the EA App and Sims 3 are working in general, you still can't download your Store content, even with the launcher already open? I don't know of many people who run Sims 3 on Linux, but I also don't remember this specifically being a problem.
@puzzleaddict I am wondering if it is possible to try to run a Mac version of the EA App to see if that works with Linux. I've never used any version of the EA App as I haven't downloaded it, I didn't put Origin onto my PC when I first installed my game. The thing is I used to work as a programmer and whenever I had to make something run on Windows or a Mac I had to change just one character in the code. That was the / used in file paths. For the Mac I had to change it from / to |. It's been many years since I have done any of this work so things might have changed but wonder if it might help in downloading store items.
