DivinylsFan Manage the Dead is a MasterController command: it brings up the inventory for the mausoleum so you can take the urns of your choice. Overwatch has a Cleanse the Dead option that automatically deletes dead parents of dead sims, as in, only one generation of dead sims will exist. This is also False by default.
In general, if something can be set to run automatically (or not), it's likely coming from Overwatch, or perhaps SP. If you have to do something further, like select which sims/urns/etc. you want to affect with the command, it's likely an MC interaction.
