The big majority of my saves end up being generational. Family play it's my favourite kind of play after all :)
But once in a while I do like having a little bit of mischievousness in my saves, like having a inventor sim blowing up stuff around the neighborhood or having a witch ruining couples, turning the townies into supernaturals or... accidentally killing them with fire blasts...
That only happened once! I promise :D
At the end of the day I think only the one playing the game can decide if what they're doing it's boring or not, in my case, family play it's not boring at all and even feels kind of rewarding :)
