Can I get the mascot to come back? Need aptitude test.

Question

I was working on a teen Sim and received the welcome basket from the mascot. I moved the family out of their big house into a smaller one to save money and forgot to take the welcome basket with me :[

I've checked the family inventory and it is not there, and the mascot never came to the new house to give out a new one. As far as I know the welcome basket is the only way for Sims to take the aptitude test and receive scholarships. So when I sent her off to Uni finally I just paid it in full.

Does anyone know how to get the mascot to give you another welcome basket? Or how to take the aptitude test if you don't have one? (PS I already tried buydebug and did not see it).

Whether you’re planning on attending University or not, the University Welcome Kit is worth the simoleons. Typically this package will be dropped off at your home by the University Mascot, but if he/she is a no show, just purchase this kit in buy mode.

You can go to buy mode and purchase a new welcome basket. It's under ... Buy Mode - Sort by function - Entertainment - Misc. Entertainment    Cost $20

If you use the cheat ( testingcheatsenabled true) and shift click+control click the mailbox, should be an option to trigger the mascot.
