Can multiple piles of clothing conteibute to lag?

I usually like to open up houses with master controller to check them out and I just opened some houses to see that they had tons of piles of clothes all over the floor because the houses had hampers but no washing/drying machine and I am starting to think I'm gonna have to go and remove the hampers from all households I don't play, since after like 5sim days my game is just getting laggier and laggier allthough it was running like a charm in the first 5 days

@Iceey That's probably a good idea, not much point in having hampers if they don't have any washing machines and dryers.
I'm only wondering how/why did they get the hampers in the first place?

Sorry for the late reply, I play in a costum world, Legacy Island II by Rflong. I genrally have a good experience using their worlds but I am thinking that since the world had a Laundromat maybe it was made with the idea that sims would use it but they don't. But tbh that hasn't fixed the lag. Nothing I do seems to fix the lag or my sims standing around for a million years. At this point I really wanna play the sims 3 but playing it is so unpleasant because of the lag. I mean even sims 2 as soon as u do the 4GB patch on it runs like a charm, and that game has about 50GB of cc and never crashes. And I remember ts3 being way smoother on my old pc smh which so frusturates me. I just keep hoping for a 64bit version to be out someday so I can play my fave game and have a pleasant experience doing so.
  • Has this always been a problem in LI2 or is this just happening? Is there anything new you've added to your game?

My TS2 can't run with 50GB of CC, your game must be Amazing.
  • Well for me the world as I said was running perfect the first 5 sim days and now so much simulation lag, and I removed the hampers and clothing but it's still laggy. Idk tbh, only thing left to do is try Sunset Valley, but oh well id I can't play it now, I still have 2. And 2 hasn't crashed me since I allocated my memory and did the 4GB patch because I also used to crash once upon a time so randomly. Granted loading times are long but the game runs smooth like butter lol. And I use your worlds in 2 too!
