Can you disable NRAAS story progression pop ups? If so how?

And can you give me a visual tutorial?
  • @Aihauo, I'm hoping this will suffice as it's not too hard and any pictures would be mainly pictures of words :)

Go into Map View and click on the City Hall, then click on the following interactions in turn:
    NRaas
    Story Progression...

In the first screen that comes up choose General Options
    Then All Stories
You will see a list of choices
Click on the ones you want, or None
(Most people recommend Blood and Friends so that you get notifications for your own family members and those you know, but no one else, but you can turn them all off if you want.)
If you need more help, then let me know.

  • Not sure you really need a visual tutorial for this.

If you want to disable them by type of story, click on City Hall or any in-game computer and
NRaas > SP > General Options > Options:Stories > Disallow Story, select the ones you no longer wish to see, and hit the checkmark to save
NRaas > SP > General Options > Options:Stories > Story Summary (change to None if you no longer want the last 20 stories appearing in summary form)

If you want to disable them at the individual sim level, for groups of sims (castes), or the entire town, click on City Hall or any in-game computer and
NRaas > SP > Sim Options (or Caste Options, Town Options) > Stories:Allow and change to False

After you make any of these changes, the last few such stories already in the queue may still appear until they run out and the story manager starts its next cycle.

does that stop other stories from happening at all or does it just stop showing the notifications?

It only stops the notifications, not the progression effects of the stories themselves.
