Speaking of which, I wanted to share a potential cascade that is a spin-off, if you will, of The Best of 2012 Cascade.
Once one owns that compilation, they need to acquire 3 items from the Haute Hacienda Kitchen with a value of approximately 199 points.
These can be:
DD # 189 Haute Hacienda Kitchen - Talavera Tile Wall Mirror 27 pts (Value 81 pts)
DD# 400 Haute Hacienda Kitchen Talavera Tile Island 28 pts (Value 68 pts)
DD# 735 Haute Hacienda Cantina Canister 16 pts (Value 50 pts)
Total Points Spent: 71 for a Value of 199
then get DD# 845 Haute Hacienda Kitchen Set FREE!
I unfortunately made a mistake on my own spreadsheet and had the wrong Set price (higher than it was) so I bought two extra items off the DD unnecessarily but hopefully this will help someone else avoid that.
I also had 5 items of Haute Hacienda Dining (a Value of 215) in order to get it close to free from the DD when it was due to make an appearance (Deal # 84) but because I had the HH Kitchen set plus the 5 Items in the Dining set, I got the Haute Hacienda Kitchen and Dining Room Compilation for free. Leslie, I'm not sure how many items you have to have in order to get the Free Download on the HH Kitchen and Dining Room. I just happened to have 215 so maybe you could do some math there to avoid overspending but below is what one could do to get approximately 215 points.
Unfortunately there are only two items from the Haute Hacienda Dining Room on the current DD list so you'd need to buy:
DD#939 Haute Hacienda Dining Room - Desert Cactus Sculpture 7 pts (value 30 pts)
DD# 745 Haute Hacienda Dining Room Artful Adobe Fireplace 98pts (Value 162 pts)
plus one 25 point value item like Haute Hacienda Dining Room Look at my Gecko Sculpture
Total Points Spent 130 points for a Value of 217 points.
So having spent 201 points (71+130) you would then get Fabulous Fiesta Free a Value of 1045 pts after getting the Free download on DD# 845 Haute Hacienda Kitchen. The best part is it gives you the Ice Cream Maker and the Deep Fryer for free - which on their own cost 851 points (when not on Sale).
I say it's a spin off of Best of 2012 because you can then get the green download on April 2012 since that is comprised of Fabulous Fiesta and the India Inspirations Living Room, Bedroom and Clothing and Hairstyles which one gets from Best of 2012.
Once again Leslie, I would appreciate it if you could check my numbers and the math and sorry for the uber long post, just want to make sure I explained it all. Since Deal # 845 just happened folks can start to pick up the deals in the order I listed above and we'll keep our fingers crossed that the store doesn't close before the end of the next rotation :smiley:
