CAW for Macs
Does anyone know if it's possible to create a custom world for sims 3 on a Mac? I tried looking it up but no luck.

Only if you stay current with the macOS, the age of the Mac doesn't matter in this case. Some users upgrade whenever a new operating system comes out, others stay on somewhat older ones. If you stay on 10.14 (Mojave) or prior, then things will continue to work as they do today. You can tell which operating system you are running from Apple Menu > About This Mac if you aren't sure.
I am on OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 I don't upgrade anything (not tech savvy). I am not playing S4 atm, maybe never. But I don't want to loose my S3!!! Thanks for getting back to me!
