@Deshong04 I installed the hairs in a test Sims 3 folder already. My previous experience with TSR was not at all good, and I'm not going to risk my good game folders. I will do all play testing of those hairs in the test folder. Once I'm sure the hairs aren't going to cause problems, I'll install the hairs I decide to keep into my good folders - I have one for every different lifespan I like to use. Changing life stage settings is one of the biggest pains in the game, especially when you're tweaking long or epic lifespans. To set the 800 day lifespan I'm using for my current game, I actually edited the Options.ini file in notepad. I keep all the folders in my Electronic Arts folder, and just add the lifespan onto the folder names of all except the active one.
I didn't know that CC hair could be GPU intensive and cause lag and stuttering though. Most of the hairs I downloaded are made by Nightcrawler, because I love the texture they have. If you are familiar with Nightcrawler's hairs, would those be GPU intensive, since they have such well-defined texture? Some of the others have a similarly fine texture, but it isn't so well-defined, and doesn't show in game nearly as well. I don't think I'm going to keep those.
