Chicken coop or whatever

The chicken coop is a store item that either can be brought by itself or with a set. You can feed the chickens, collect the eggs. If you don't collect the eggs in time, they hatch into little chicks that you can play with. Then you have Charles the Evil chicken that you can ask questions to or fight with him. The chickens don't roam your yard as they are just confined to the area the chicken coop takes up.

Then we have the dairy cow that also can be brought by itself or with a set from the store. You feed the cow and then milk the cow. You can also play tic tac hoof with the cow and you can also tip the cow over. The cow also is confined to the area that the cow pen takes up.

ive bought the chicken coop for my sims 3 but it wont install to my game. it says it was installed but when i go on my game its not there .. then when i reopen the launcher it no longer installed ? ... can someone help me please.. this is getting very frustrating

The first thing to try, if you haven't already of course, is downloading the item again. Could have been a faulty download.

The coop is considered a premium store item. Do any of your premium store items show up and work properly? If not, there could be an issue with your ccmerged file, it's a small file that lives in the DCBackup folder in your TS3 user game folder in Documents and is needed to make these items show up and work. Somewhere down the page here where Nonamena explains how this works technically, she offers up a replacement for that file for those who need it.

Or, is it the case that you can't install any kind of sims3pack content at all? That could be a different issue with your DCCache Folder if so.
