Edit : This does not happen often to my sims but instead of going invisible they simply wear the last outfit they had on... Once it was that my sim got out the shower and span around to run out to work in the nude! And without the censor grid.... I was seriously scared, but doing what I do sorted it out

Thank you...i didn't know work outfits could be edited...so my sim is fixed...how do i fix the npc's in my town????

i can't edit them because i can't click on them...how do i give a makeover to a npc?

You can use your MasterController. Click on the lot with the invisible sim -->nraas-->MC-->Sim-->Basic-->outfit-->choose everyday (or some other visible outfit). Once they are visible, you can change their career outfit.

For your sims, have them shower or work out or anything that would change their clothes, and for townies/sims you can't control, download this s'wonderful s'marvelous mod:

I use it myself and it works like every time. Sometimes I do have to tell it to do it twice, but it always fixes it.

(Note: Sometimes sims around town who are wearing some CC clothes get pregnant, and then their maternity clothes are just a floating head with no torso and some feet at the bottom, and then once they have the baby they like never change out of their maternity clothes so they're walking around town half-way invisible, but this mod will fix that too. I tested it out in my game and ta-da! Annoying stupid sims who obviously never shower or change for work are fixed!)

I need help. I haven’t played Sims 4 in a while, and when I got on I just started a new world like usual. When it took me to the page where I creat a new sim the middle of the screen was blank. You could see the sim in the corner where you would change sims, but they were invisible in the middle. So I couldn’t change what they looked like.

I thought that this was just a glitch with the beginning, but then I started playing the game and when I went to change her outfit it was still like this. Even for the cat.

I tried everything j could think of. Now I’m stumped.

@avarose4600, you might be better off posting your issue over on the AHQ page as this is an old thread from 2012, so therefore it has nothing to do with The Sims 4... ;)

You could try repairing your game first before heading over to the AHQ site to see if that works. Not sure if you use custom content but trying pulling your CC folder out of your game folder and see if you could had gotten some bad CC. If it works, then put your CC back in a piece at a time and test your game after each one to see if you get the problem that you're having back. And if it does come back, then uninstall that piece of CC out of your game.

Not to continue with the necro'ing, but in case people don't know, AHQ doesn't have the restrictions on new members starting their own threads or posting images that this site does.
