Count Snypes Disappeared

While playing the Sims 3, I had noticed that Count Snypes had disappeared from my sim's relationships tab so I decided to go to Aleister's Elixirs and Sundries and found that he had been replaced with a different sim. When I checked Countess Snypes' household he wasn't there either. Is there any way that I can get him to reappear in my game?

    This isn't my area of expertise at all, but according the Sims Wiki the Count starts out as a homeless NPC in Moonlight Falls. He sometimes but not always moves in with the Countess. Perhaps in your game this did not happen and he wandered away or got removed from the game by some other force?

    Homeless sims are prone to getting culled by vanilla story progression like anyone else. Also, Count Snypes is a pretty old vampire when you start (while Countess isn't as much), with 24 days until his elder birthday and being subject to wacky homeless sim aging. He may have just aged up and died without a notice.
