Currently having trouble downloading anything from the exchange or from the s3 online store.
(This is also posted in answer HQ https://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Unable-to-download-from-the-exchange-or-online-store/m-p/6693842#M229144 )
When I try to download from the exchange, including content from my studio that I've not had previous issue with, I get the message "There was an error while downloading content. Please see log for more details.".
I find the following in the launcher log file (only part of the first line of the log, other lines are older, file attatched if anyone want's to read the full log) "2017/03/18|17:16:37|assetId: 6620002|Exchange Download Failure. CRC Error. Likely file got corrupted in transit.||||Build Version: 1.67.2.024001|Platform: PC|Locale: en_US|Content URL: http://store.thesims3.com|Web Services URL: http://igs.thesims3.com|

2017/08/05|18:21:56|OFB-SIM3:72837|Store Download Failure. Download manifest server error.||||Build Version: 8.0.152.024001|"
I was able to save files from the exchange to my pc, they however all show up as having corrupt files in Delphy's custard, including an ea lot that I keep as backup in my studio.
Out of curiosity I wanted to see if the issue is confined to the exchange. Popped over to the store as there is some content that I own that I have reinstalled on this pc. I can't get the store content to download. When I try to download an item or set from the store the launcher loops a login screen prompt.
I run Sims 3 on patch 1.67, unattached to origin (the plus of having everything on cd), I have a few nraas mods, no cc, and have downloaded from both the exchange and the store previously with the mods in place.
I had previously downloaded from the exchange and store without issue in February.
Ps, if it matters, I ran registry cleaner, checked firewall settings, and tried different browsers (ie & chrome) no change in issue.
