pinkmagic04 Sims 3 already runs on current computers. What happens when you try to play? If you get an error message, please post a screenshot, and either way, describe what you see.
Please also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

I can launch the game, it’s just after one play it doesn’t allow me to get back into that save file. It says error. And when I try to create another save since that one no longer works, it says error. I have to delete the entire sims 3 then download it again to play “one time” again.
pinkmagic04 Saying "it says error" does nothing for me. This is exactly why I asked you to post a screenshot of the error: so I can know what actual error you're having. And I also asked for a dxdiag so I can take a look at your system specs and any recent Windows errors.

Here's the dxdiag. Will send the screenshot of the error as well.

pinkmagic04 This is almost always a OneDrive-related issue. You can get rid of OneDrive in a specific way, as described here (the "I want to get rid of OneDrive" section):
📓[GUIDE] [PC] Managing OneDrive | EA Forums - 12636625
The guide was written with Sims 4 in mind but applies equally to Sims 3.
If you want to keep using OneDrive, or you want to test before getting rid of it, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it with your Microsoft account or any email address. (You can keep saying you don't have that info until you're asked some security questions instead.) You'll be able to launch the game without reinstalling it, but your previous save(s) won't be present. That's fine for the purposes of this test, and you can move over your data later if you want.

Thank you I will test this out.
