Differences between CAS and ingame

Hello everyone, I have a fairly simple question. I'm currently playing my sims 3 game. in CAS the edges seem jagged (not anti aliased) while my anti aliasing setting is put on High. Ingame there...

I have never changed my Nvidia settings for this game. My game has always looked the same. You can try asking @Karritz or maybe @SimplyJen
