Do adopted children inherit the "secret traits" etc?

So I was thinking of adopting kids rather than having babies in the game, but I was hoping to have children who will inherit those secret traits, like how children of the rock career-sims would have s...

Yeah, I kinda guessed this one, I mean, it makes sense of course - but Sims logic doesn't always makes sense, haha. I mean, in theory both adopted and born-of children in Sims could inherit these traits, if you consider nature vs nurture. I doubt it , but it would have been nice!
