haha ! instead of going to the daughter they went for each other - Everyone's Sims are adorable. Right now I've been playing a lesbian couple for my legacy. Rosie Kinnely is the red haired woman and Hazel Janes is the raven haired lady (Hazel is also my legacy's heir). :D

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hObEXW9taJE/U0aSLsBeGHI/AAAAAAAAB00/PHOz55RYV3M/s1600/Screenshot-29.jpg"width=500" - over the years, i've had lots of gay sims in my towns. they always end up my favorite families to play, too. C:
but my current legacy family has been about 50/50 between straight and gay/lesbian/bi. i let my sim's wishes and autonomy pick who their partners should be, usually, and i do use MC to check if they have a preference before i start helping them find them love. all my heirs/heiresses have had biological children too, which makes it nice for keeping within legacy rules!
here are some of them..
ellie (my gen3 heiress - who had the inappropriate trait, hence the underwear xD) & her partner, andrea:

alistar (my red-headed gen4 heir) and mortimer goth... yeah, he was gay in one of my saves!

they are my absolute favorite couple in my legacy so far ♥
emmett (my gen6 heir, with the blue skin) and his partner, omari:

and in my current generation (seven!), one of my spares blythe (in the purple) and her partner brandee..

and that's not even counting all the spares that were moved out who were gay or lesbian or bi. :> - My sims is what they want to be... I play wishary style...
Hanna (that didn't become hair do to comunity voteing) could end up gay.... she is an adult now and still havn't settled down... 1 week she dates a woman the next a man... If she had won I would likely have made gentic manipulation or gone to Oasis landing or used the mod... as I want to keep the genetic = not let an adopted child be heir... or she would have adopted 1 of her siplings kids (ad them to houshold when they teens) to take over that is if she never got any kids.... - Since I'm a lesbian, pretty much all of my female sims nowadays are lesbians too. :) <3
- Sooooooo many XD. I had a really cute lesbian couple. One sim had just dropped out of college (professor got her pregnant). Her name was Rylie and se had a daughter named Hailey. She became good friends with her neighbor, who eventually made a move on her. They were faithful to each other for life. I really felt that they loved each other, Y'know? They had a long, beautiful life together.
- I don't purposely make my Sims anything, they kind of evolve into whatever. I'm hetero, so my Sims tend to be.
I do have Bailey Remington, a Sim I made for my story. He is a wedding planner. He's very trendy and fashionable and he highly admires my supermodel main Sim, Reagan and he really admires her then fiancé, now husband, Jay. Some ppl have wondered about Bailey's orientation. He's who he is.

When I'm doing a legacy, my legacy sim is often never g-a-y because they can't reproduce to pass on their genetics, but I've had numerous g-a-y sims in my games and I also have Nraas SP set to make the population of my towns accurately reflect reality. I think with EA SP, no sim will ever autonomously begin a g-a-y relationship. Hopefully my spelling of g-a-y ensures that it doesn't become the word plum!
Gay doesn't turn into plum, bisexual however does, which in fact seriously bothers me because I have no idea why. I'd like to see that explained, maybe I'm missing a good reason. Homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual.
(who knows a surprise awaits me and they fixed it)
edit: no, they didn't- I'm not straight, so I tend to make almost all of my sims not straight. I can't remember the last time I had a straight one. They're usually either gay or bi.

Necro post of a thread a year and a half old, wow.
Sorry - I guess we didn't get the memo that said to stop playing and talk about our gay Sims in 2015. Would you prefer a new thread any time someone wants to discuss a topic that has previously been discussed?
Yeah - not really an appropriate response to this particular thread. Now, the one asking why breast feeding hadn't been put in the game... that's where the whole necro conversation should be had.
Even his dog can tell :)
