- Dreamerz13Rising VanguardI do sometimes but not often. I just like my sims to have children and expand the family through several generations. I'm not fond of the idea of same-sex pregnancies especially for males, I dunno why really considering I don't play with too much realism in my game but that's one spot where I like the realism. I can't stand the adoption because I always get the ugliest kids ever and I'm shallow and only like good looking sims. I will let my sims decide ultimately though, so if they want to have a romantic relationship with a sim of the same gender I won't stop it. I do try to encourage my heirs to be straight so that they can have children, but if it does eventually happen that an heir has an attraction to a sim of the same gender I'll just let it be and figure something out to let them have a child.
I do have a lesbian couple right now though and I'm so happy about that because I do play them rarely so it's nice when I do. There are just so many sims in the family that I don't have to worry about not having another generation. I used MC to increase the population of same sex couples and to decide the preferences of undecided sims. I hoped it would pick somebody from my family and it did. I'm hoping to have a couple more same-sex couples as the children and grandchildren grow up just because it is so rare and this is a really good save for it so I can still have the best of both worlds and have same sex couples but still see new generations being born. - alanmichael1Seasoned HotshotI always play gay couples or the combination gay brother - straight sister living together. I send my couples to Oasis Landing to get children from the hospital. This works very well, other than Grims Door which produces pudding faces.
- Occasionally , I'm currently planning to make the "spare" in my current legacy challenge a lesbian and her and her twin sister ( the heir, cause she was born first )are going to marry childhood friends.
- In my game Fiona McIrish is in a relationship with my CAS Rachel, Fiona kept hitting on all the married guys and it was peeving me so she is now a happy lesbian (and doesn't bother any other ladies). In the past, I made my all time favorite vampire Simon a love interest for Dylan specifically because the house Dylan was in was him, his brother Jamie (who later through numerous moves became unbrothered) and Jamie's fiancee Belle. Everytime I tried to introduce another female for Dylan Jamie would hit on her so I figured another male was "safer" until Simon started on Jamie! So...Dylan is now strait again, Simon is now strait again, and married extreamly happily to Summer, and Jamie and Belle are married. I just has a super cute CAS pair, Shane and Nicholas but lost them when my computer blackscreened :/
- I have done. I have a female couple, I had it allowed for same sex babies. So the children are still genetically both of theirs. Male sims are trickier in that you CAN have a male pregnancy, but I am not quite as into it. I mostly let SP pair up the sims. I haven't played a gay couple, but that's not because I don't WANT to more than I usually like to play legacy stuff with regular rules when it comes to baby-making.
I tried to have a male friend of my sims be gay, but then he turned around and knocked up 3 women... so.. darn it!
If I played more families I would be way more likely to make gay couples. But I usually only play one household per game save. - catloverplayerSeasoned AceI don't think I have with TS4. I have however downloaded a few from the gallery.
- Necro post of a thread a year and a half old, wow.
Personally I try not to let my own preferences effect my sims too much or they seem too samey. It can be had not to coerce your sims into dating other sims we the player find appealing though. - I feel like for some random reason with NRAAS SP, I get more lesbian and girl bi couples. So I decided to offset that with my next generation in my current family. I will make a gay guy.
- One of my heirs was gay and his grandson was as well (not my heir). I loved playing that gay couple, they were so sweet and nice together. I do think it helped I fancy men myself. Therefore I don't think I could enjoy playing a lesbian couple just as much. I must be able to feel why they fall in love with each other and I just can't imagine falling in love with a woman. It never happened to me.
- When I'm doing a legacy, my legacy sim is often never gay because they can't reproduce to pass on their genetics, but I've had numerous gay sims in my games and I also have Nraas SP set to make the population of my towns accurately reflect reality. I think with EA SP, no sim will ever autonomously begin a gay relationship. Hopefully my spelling of gay ensures that it doesn't become the word plum! Edited to remove my dashes!
