I wonder, if it is possible for my gay couple to make out(having sex)?
Not sure why this question requires the resurrection of a years old thread, but yes of course. Same gender couplings work the same way as opposite gender ones in all sims games (and we call it woohoo here). :)
In TS3, every sim has two gender preference scores that we cannot see without the use of mods. These don't govern behavior exclusively, but they do dictate which gender each sim is attracted to, some will be attracted to both, and some neither. Just as in real life."Sindocat;c-16592803" wrote:
However, to have kids you will either need a 3rd party mod, or else use the in-game adoption service.
That's not entirely correct, there are two ways for same gender sims to make a baby with each other not involving mods or surrogates. One is genetically engineering one together at the ITF hospital (a mod is indeed needed to make this work on homeworld hospitals away from Oasis Landing). The other is to challenge the fake Grim Reaper who "lives" behind the Door of Life and Death, this is an EA store object and part of the Grim's Ghastly Manor set. Not exactly sure how that one goes as I don't have or really want the set myself.
I've used genetic engineering at the hospital in-game, but really prefer the modded versions of reproduction. Not sure why since none of it other than adoptions is all that realistic, but when things "feel right" to us as players that's really all that matters. :)- IreneSwiftSeasoned Newcomer

Because new members can't start discussions. - @Midagere -Sorry, but this is the TS3 section of the forum. We have to assume the players on this thread are talking about TS3, not TS4, unless they say otherwise.
- Whoops. Sorry, I missed that :D
- My heir is always straight but siblings are what they are. Sometimes gay. Sometimes straight.
- I have a couple in my game right now, they are gay :3
Minty and Ayesha (the game decided that Ayesha is actually bi)
They have twin gIrls. - blunote00New SpectatorI've not made my sims gay/lesbian. However, I have a few games where I do play sim couples that are either gay or lesbian. I don't mind I just roll with it and it's all good.

I try to be diverse in my simworlds, if i am not playing LGBT sims at the time there are at least a few of them in my town, with SP mod i set the ratio to be 34% same sex preference. Feels more realistic that way. This is of course reflective of me in RL , when i was younger i was active in the local LGBT community as much as I could be, but then life happened and i ended up in a very different relationship and lifestyle than i imagined myself..now i guess some of what i miss leaves me with a longing that i fill in Sims, which results in a 1/3 maybe slightly more of my saves currently having gay/trans* sims.(as the main toons)
I try to play diverse in ethnicity , though im not too great at that, as well body types, all sorts of sims in my town....but i tend to gravitate toward gay families a lot. I always have used adoption for them but now with ITF I will have to have a go at some genetic engineering.
This was the best answer <3
I was in the LGBT community as well but
i had gotten pregnant and engaged
so that all changed for meForeverFranconia wrote:
Actually, about half my sims are gay/Lesbian. I don't intend them to be that way, I just let them love who they want.
