It would be cool, yeah, but they released Sims 2 Ultimate for free about six years after it ended. Don't hold your breath because you'll need air in the five (or more) years it will take.
true.. and if it means ending the sims3 site... then they don't need to hurry...- I agree it would be nice to have Ultimate or Complete Edition, but how exactly it would work and what all it would contain? They didn't release as much content for the new SimCity, yet even its Complete Edition wasn't totally complete, as it didn't contain the exclusive content for Cities of Tommorow Limited Edition. Who would decide what exclusive or bonus content would be included and what would not? And what with people who already have that content? I personally have all EPs except Pets (since it was the first LE EP and I didn't know there was one) and Supernatural (as I wasn't fan of supernatural Sims before, but turned out I loved it and miss the Pea Shooter), so what content from LEs I would get and what I wouldn't? And what about store content? As much as I hate to admit it now, we all know it's just matter of time before thesims3.com website, including the Store, would be closed. What would happen with Store content? Would it be lost if you will not back it up before? Or will the Ultimate edition have all of it contained, even the things I didn't have before? Those are questions that just popped in my mind when I saw this thread.
- I have all of the expansion packs already, but none of the stuff packs. I can see how this could be an appealing idea for some. I don't want the Store to close though. Seems like such a waste, If they decided to include all the store content in a collection I think I would buy it - for the worlds alone! It just seems so unlikely though. So yeah I'd sign up for some o' that :D
- My laptop will explode running all content

Nobody even uses sims3store anyway to be honest. I even did the maths and worked out that it *might* happen in 4 years (10 years after release, like ts2 last year)
Actually there is still people who go over to the Daily Deals and Sale pages and still buy the content from there. And people still go and gift other players what is on their WishList. So people still use the store, old as well as the new players... ;)"lyyrasimmer;13786282" wrote:

I will surely file this under "W" for WTH.Where does one even begin to make statements like this? Seems to me from seeing peoples posts in game update threads and pretty much everything,I see pictures of Sims 3 store Content be it clothing or hair.Just hop over to the threads about views from your Sims balcony.You will see lots of Simmers using Hidden Springs and Aurora Skies and last I checked those were from the Store.Completely agree with @Lisasc360
The forums are getting a bit to weird for me lately.- Thank you @CravenLestat... :)
@lyyrasimmer
These 2 threads that I am posting will just prove my point that people still go over to the Sims Store and still use it. The 1st thread is the one about the Daily Deals and it shows how people are still keeping up with the DD even though this is the last DD ever but on it's on the 4th rotation. And the thread is up to 940 pages long already... :) The 2nd thread is a thread that someone started to keep up with the Sale page for those who also like to keep an eye out on the Sale Page... :)

Plus I still see new threads being made from players asking questions about some of the venues or the content that comes with it as they are looking for information about things in the store before they decide to buy that venue/set. And there are people asking what store world/s are the best so they can decide which ones to buy. People are still using the MMAO (Make Me an Offer) feature. And people are still watching the ads to get free simpoints to be able to use in the store. And a SimGuru did state at the beginning of the year that they have no plans on closing the store anytime soon as people are still using it.
And this last link to this thread is Cascades and Daily Deals and how to use them together to get the best bargain for your simpoints. People still comment on this thread also... :)

Edited to add that if you go into the Gift Giving and Thank You forums that you will still see a lot of contests and lotteries being put on by generous simmers and donors to gift people stuff off of their WL. Which just also proves that people still use the store even though some of them own the whole store but that doesn't stop them from watching ads and/or buying simpoints to be able to use for other people... :) "lyyrasimmer;13786282" wrote:

I was gifted 3 items from the Sims 3 store last week. LOL
And I broke down and bought myself a set I'd been wanting for a long time. So, yes, people still do use the store quite a lot because there is still quite a big player base for sims 3.- We would have to pay for this and I already have bought most of the store items. I also have a Mac and the latest patch for my Mac I don't really understand this. I would rather have everything on a disk anyway I have most of my Sims 3 with a disk but I don't have all the store items only saved.
- LaBlue0314Rising ScoutIt might be a little more, for two reasons. One its newer, and two there is a couple more in three than there was in two. That is if you can count the Christmas Party Pack as one. When I originally bought it, it was already included with the base game. Down the road I do think (but you never know) that they could possibly do something like that. Tell you the true, what I really would LOVE to see would be for them to bring back Sims 1, but reformatted so it could play on Windows 8 and 10, or what ever is out in the future. It's never hogwash in hoping that they would do something like you are asking for.
