- I'd take it. It would be even better if they made the game 64 bit.
- It would be awesome, but my computer can barely handle the EPs I have installed with no SPs. I had to unintall pets recently because it was bugging up my game, I have everything except ITF and IP. I'd love to add those, but I'm heading back to college in the fall and need to keep my computer in good working order for my schoolwork (as well as keep distractions to a minimum!). My head also hurts thinking about the Sims 5, I'll probably be married with kidlets at that point D: I really want to see certain aspects of TS4 fixed though, before I get ahead of myself.
- MiyuEmi10 years agoSeasoned AceIf they did this, I can only see them doing it disc based. As someone above said, this would take wayyyy too long to download from origin. I know my installed game is massive!
I would like to see them offer Sims 3 base game and Generations along with every store world they made and have it put at a reasonable price. Those store worlds were/are outrageously priced! - goodfellowe10 years agoNew AceProbably not, they're money hungry.
- This topic started in June 2015, when the fame of Sims 3 apparently was slowly decreasing. We're three quarters of a year later and so far I don't see that happening. I do 't know, as long as EA can make money with Sims 3 they will. Sims 2 UC was given to us when Sims 4 was released, I don't think there's a reason to believe it will be different for Sims 3.
- Tangie090610 years agoSeasoned NewcomerI have to wonder if one of the reasons they released TS2 UC was due to technical support reasons - it still has a large player base but if everyone is using the same version of the game that makes tech support a whole lot easier. Of course there is no reason they have to keep supporting the game at all since it's no longer being sold.
Another reason I think they did it was that they were hoping that people would get used to loading screens and lot-focused play, since that's what they put into TS4. Especially all the people who never played TS2 before and only had experience with TS3.
I guess what I'm saying is that they will never release any kind of similar TS3 version unless they have an ulterior motive. :D "lyyrasimmer;13786282" wrote:
Nobody even uses sims3store anyway to be honest. I even did the maths and worked out that it *might* happen in 4 years (10 years after release, like ts2 last year)
@lyyrasimmer , tell my credit card that! I just bought another 5,000 points.- Would be awesome if they did, not that I need it
The Sims 3, it is happening now! "lyyrasimmer;13786282" wrote:

Right. I didn't even get the bulk of the store content I have until last fall and I still occasionally run into something I want so set about clicking ads until I have the points for it.
As for the topic at hand, I noticed a while back this thread is old as the hills but seeings as it's here again I can't say this is something I'd be interested in since I avoid Origin and if I want more than I currently have of TS3 I'll buy it on disc.
