Does loyalty matter to pets?

Hi @Earcat. I'm not in game to check what it says about the loyalty trait, but I think it just pertains to the pet's relationship with their human sim(s). I think anytime there is a high-ish relationship level between two pets you'll see the want for kittens pop up, regardless if they're supposedly mated to another. I guess I've never made two pets at the same time in CAS and assigned them as mates either, though, so there may be something in play I know nothing about.
