Does someone have a Baker's Bazaar Collection Tutorial?

Does someone have a tutorial on how to use the Baker's Bazaar Collection?  It doesn't seem to let me stock the shelves on a community lot, unless I either bring food my sims cooked at their home lot, or I use cheats to build on the lot and manually move the dishes to the displays.  I tried putting a fridge on the community lot and than storing the food in there, and than transferring it to their inventory, but when I tell my sims to put away the leftovers, they just pickup the plate and put it back down again.

I'm thinking there has to be a better way to do it.  Do any of you have experience with this?  Thanks for any help you can give me in advance
