EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

@faytheful - That means you have a core mod that is not intended for the patch level your game now has. Or the patch level it thinks it has, pick one. There are only five TS3 core mods in popular usage (I'm assuming you haven't developed your own).

Other kinds of mods (script, tuning, scripted objects) and CC do not throw this error message, only core mods. ErrorTrap, XCAS, and 2XWF each have 1.67 and 1.69 specific versions available. The other two do not.
