This came about by doing a System Restore so your game now likely has a mismatched build vs. data file someplace. And ErrorTrap is a core mod. I just said this. (Edit: Okay, you did correct that part while I was typing this) You didn't ask for help here but I'm providing it anyway in case it's useful or helps someone else in a similar position.
You could try the 1.69 version of ErrorTrap to see if it silences the nag message, even though for other purposes from what you have described your game is really running 1.67. There aren't any real game file differences between the two patches though, so continuing to run the "wrong" (even though it's not really wrong) version of ErrorTrap isn't really going to harm anything. The nag message's dire warning would apply if you now had let's say a 1.55 or 1.63 version of a core mod like ErrorTrap that really did have substantive changes in the game's core files to deal with as that could damage your ongoing games.

@igazor ty for your help. I know you don't have to but its very appreciated.
I think I do have error trap for 1.67
at least that's what is showing on my computer.

I downloaded it a long time ago before NRaas separated it from 1.69.
The one I downloaded covered 1.63 - 1.69
If I take out error trap do you think the message will go away ?
About to try it now - edit: no taking error trap out of the game didn't stop that message from showing
