EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

Yes, that is correct as (I think) you are on 1.67. You just won't be able to purchase any new store points or store worlds, unless you use the Origin website to make the purchase. Or something like that, but Origin isn't a part of the download and install processes for store content. Just the base game and EP/SPs.
