Anyway, I want to make needs static for only one of my Sims, since the needs run out too fast.

As far as I know there is nothing that keeps a single Sim's needs in place. However there is a cheat to make that Sim's Needs bar full but not frozen. Which means you'll need to keep an eye on their needs from time to time.

    *Hit CLTR+Shift+C
*Then type in: testingcheatsenabled true and hit Enter.
*Go to the Sim's "Needs" and drag the green or red bar all the way over to the right.

    Technology.
  • If you use mods, you can set an individual Sim's needs to static with Story Progression; I sometimes use that for my Sim babies because it's so hard to keep their social level up so I'll set that for static while they're still babies/toddlers.

I think stilljustme2 is referring to the NRaas mod, StoryProgression. I don't think EA's ingame story progression provides for this. HTH

    I mean which storyprogression module

I believe it is the BASE Story Progression mod coupled with the EXTRA module that provides for this. You'll need both. And you can choose each need separately to make static. The settings are listed under Sim Options--Static Motive.

I don't use NRaas Story Progression, so I can't offer any more insight. But I do use other NRaas mods and love them.

Be aware though, that making needs static will affect free will autonomy such that the static sims may not do much of anything on their own. With no needs to prompt them, their actions may become "static" too. So maybe just make Bladder/Hunger/Hygiene/Energy static and leave Fun and Social normal?

There have been times when I've wanted to just make one sim's needs static temporarily while they finish a task, but let the other sims in the household (like babies) sleep or eat. Babies are often not on the same schedule as the adults! Plus, if I Make All Happy, it can interfere with cooking tasks, socializing--whatever--so I try not to do that too often. But dragging a need bar up a little for just one sim lets him finish something without wetting himself or dropping from exhaustion! I don't do this often either though.

I can't seem to access it,
I have accessed sim options but there was no option that stated "static motive"

As mentioned above, the SP Extra add-on module is also required. Do you have that one in play alongside of the SP base mod?
