Elder sims just walk around naked?

I don't have one elder wandering around commando let alone a whole geriatric nakey invasion :D So assume it is very not normal.

I don't think it's normal for any sim in Sims 3 to walk around naked. Unless you have mods, they only get naked to shower or skinny dip.

I know there is a glitch where sims don't get dressed after a shower and it has happened to me twice. It even happens in vanilla games and the naked sim doesn't have the censor. I could understand one elder in that state but I would say your case is out of the ordinary.

Could also be that you have a naked underwear glitch - but that would affect adults too... :s

Maybe your Elder Sims are just past the point of giving a crud.. ;)

What's odd about the still very common after the shower glitch is that the sim is not really naked. They don't see themselves that way and neither do other sims around them -- think of the Streaking scenario from the Uni EP, other sims gasp, clutch their pearls, scream in horror (how insulting, by the way!), but in this case they do not.

It's only a timing/display glitch and only we the player see them that way when it happens. As a mod user, I just select a more appropriate outfit for them using NRaas MasterController, only takes a click or two. Without mods, one would need them to spin into their outfit again; not really sure what you can do without MC for sims who are not player-controlled except maybe take their showers away? That could have other unwanted effects, though. ;)

You are correct. What I usually do is clutch my chest in pain with one hand, wave the other arm around, stagger backwards, and scream out, "This is it, this is the big one! Elizabeth, I'm coming to join you honey!"

(this is a Redd Foxx/Sanford and Son reference for those who might not get it, guess it's more than a bit dated now)

I never heard a such funny glitch ever.

@igazor I am aware of Sanford and Son but I grew up on Steptoe and Son. My dad was English and we watched many British shows in my youth :)
