End of 32bit-What Next?

What happens to Sims 3 now that EA's ending 32bit support?

I haven't found any news about EA ending The Sims 3's 32-bit system support. That thing is happening with The Sims 4. As far as I know, The Sims 3 continues 32-bit support.
