Engineering a Baby

I am in the NORMAL future. I cannot engineer a baby at all.
I have tried it with having a Sim with a best friend.
I have tried it with having a romantic interest.
I have enough money, 40k.
My Sim is not a supernatural of any kind and is not already pregnant.
I on;y have a total of four sims in the household.
I do not have any mods.
The option to have a baby engineered is greyed out.

How can I fix this?

    Make sure you are in a group/on a date with the Sim you want to engineer a child with.
    I had mine meet up with Auden Dunes at the hospital, we were "good friends"
    Once we were hanging out I clicked on the hospital, and wala! Instant baby. :)
