Family difficulty
What determines the difficulty of playing a family? I have a family that has four people, three cats, they have nearly 200k simolias. They are showing a level 5 difficulty.

Disallowing adoption on your rotational caste should stop that from happening in the future. The setting applies to both human and pet adoptions. Although it sounds like you are having fun with your sims' current litter of kitties. :)
