Thank you for responding @igazor ! So I didn't realize that about the SSD vs. HDD. I may need some help with that as well. It probably is the simplest task, but I just want to make sure I do it right. It makes me wonder what I had been putting my game on on my laptop. I have to go take a look now. I am also hoping that, when I do get the PC and install the game, I can transfer my old sims 3 folder (with my old save). Hopefully that is possible.
