Finding Old Registration Codes

So I finally have a new laptop with enough space to play 3 again after years of waiting. So contact support to see if my previously registered packs can be digitally downloaded like the base game for me, and hours down the rabbit hole later I am typing in the codes. Only problem is a few of the boxes don't have the manuals in them anymore.

I still have that decade old desktop they were originally installed on. Anyway to get the codes off of there? For some reason the Sims 3 my page only has me listed since 2015, but I have had 3 since launch. I am looking at having to buy 5 expansion packs otherwise.
  • As you still have functional access to your old desktop, you should be able to retrieve the codes from there. Takes a bit of work, though.

  • Thank you very much! It worked. However it rejected two of my codes. I thought I had registered some, so maybe it was those two. I'll have to contact support again, but I am ever closer to my goal. Thank you, again.
  • After much effort, I have Sims 3 working again with pretty much all my old content. (I had to repurchase World Adventures.) I was even able to transfer my old saves, library, etc. Not everything works, but I am glad to have it. Thanks again for the help.
  • These things shouldn't really take as much effort as they sometimes do, but glad you got that all taken care of and can enjoy your game now!
