lol Yeah, I've always thought how screwed up it is. Sometimes ya gotta bite the bullet and put it out anyways knowing you'll be fined if you think it's going to spread fast and kill sims. Another option is to skip the fire alarm if you want your sims to put it out. *shrugs* Not sure why the game is programmed this way.
Instead of trying to be in control the last fire I had, I sat back and let whatever happen. The fire almost took out an elder sim with 2 days left. I would have been so mad. That's just not fair. :D I was surprised to see how much the fire spread but it could be the cluster of objects together catching. Also, I've never experienced neighbors showing up on the lawn to watch?? :|
