Game Freezes but Animations Continue
Okay, I've given up! I've tried every single option out there that I've read! I updated all of my mods. I thought maybe installing Overwatch and Errortrap would help but they didn't. It still freezes!...

I did make my own separate post after posting here because I thought if there were more separate complaints about the same issue, someone might help. I should've specified in my post in this thread that it didn't occur at any particular time to my knowledge, although it was dark out, but it was happening in just that save game. I began thinking maybe it was the world of Isla Paradiso that was at the root of the problem so I started a whole new game in Bridgeport and it was completely fine so I do just think it's that world that's just really glitchy (my sim literally "swam" through sand/pavement/grass/hills until getting in a cab to go home after swimming at the beach) as Biebersbabe said above and someone else said in on The Sims FB page. And I don't have any mods whatsoever or cc.

It definitely seems to be that! I haven't played in Sunset Valley in awhile so I can't really help you there unfortunately :(
But maybe try starting a whole new game and see if that helps? Maybe it's the actual save game? What's your computer specs?
