I'm sorry your having issues and I don't know what it could be but a patch is suppose to be coming out tomorrow so hopefully that will fix you issue. Make sure origin is updated so you automatically get notification when you load your launcher.
If that doesn't work and the patch doesn't fix your issue you'll need to contact EA tech support. If I knew what the issue was I'd sure let you know and how to fix it.
The forums have been extremely dead as of late so not a lot of people on here. It's depressing since the sims 4 was announced not too many people are on the sims 3 forums especially ITF even though it's out in a week. That's probebly the reason your not getting any responses.
