game keeps minimizing itself need help!

If that doesn't work and the patch doesn't fix your issue you'll need to contact EA tech support. If I knew what the issue was I'd sure let you know and how to fix it.
The forums have been extremely dead as of late so not a lot of people on here. It's depressing since the sims 4 was announced not too many people are on the sims 3 forums especially ITF even though it's out in a week. That's probebly the reason your not getting any responses.
updated origin an that didn't help ...hopefully the patch will fix the prob
