Game update server missing in Launcher

I have searched all over the forums and still no answer. I am connected to the internet but when I click on the Game Updates in the Launcher I get an error message "cant find server \"sims3web02.sig.m...

There is a problem. No one can play it at the moment. I am following a thread here and MaxisJoe is keeping us up to date.
