Give Sim above you traits and ambition/lifetime wish
Just as title says you will show a picture of your Sim you created then the Simmer below you will give them their traits and lifetime wish.
I didn't see any discussion similar to this but I could be wrong. You can also give them a name too if you want but it's not required.
