Go Here With . . . (on bicycles)

I'm starting with a large family. A full band plus their spouses. Everybody was hungry and with their spouse, so I gave half of them orders to "Eat Here.. with others", and named their spouse. I'm a cyclist and gave everybody bicycles. The ones I gave the order to went to the diner, then they waited for their spouse to show up. I wanted to get them all fed before they went to work. Nope about the time the spouses showed up, it was time to go to work. This has been a problem before. I gave one sim orders to "Go Here...with others", ie. their band-mates so they will be ready to play a gig. Only the one travels there and the others don't leave till the first arrives. For those in the music career, they only have a short window between the time the gig starts and the time to be at work. By the time the rest of the band it there, they go on an hour and a half late and then they are late for work. I've also had them quit the gig to go to work. Is there a way to get bicycles to travel together? I've been getting better at sending them to the location separately then telling them to do something together. Usually I resort to serial "Eat Here...alone" orders because it is simpler.
  • Yes, I find that strange too, going together always means “jump in the car” apparently. That has annoyed me quite often as well. I don’t think there’s another way to this than indeed instruct them to go there seperately at the same time.
