Go To School and Stay There!!

The townie teens in my game have suddenly begun ditching school in search of a more active social life and more relaxing activities. I find them in the park on their PCs (playing games), cell phones, flirting with adults and other teens or just huddled in little 'talk' groups. When they need to be in school!

My adult Sim is a teacher. I can't have him leave work every time I see a 'ditching' teen. Plus, he doesn't know all of the teens in the school, (yet). Is there some way I could force them to go to school without my Sim having to leave work to round them up? Is there a 'Keep Your Hiney' in school mod out there which addresses this type of a problem?

  • I find that many of my schools blurp everyone outside every so often and then, if I don't notice soon enough, the students may wander away and start doing other things. It seems to be worse (though this could be my imagination) if I happen to save, quit, and later reload during the school day. This also happens to a couple of my other rabbithole lots where many sims work.

If you have MasterController in play, NRaas > MC > (Sim) > Intermediate > Career > Go to School. There is an equivalent command for Go to Work on the same menu. (MC Cheats add-on module required)

@igazor - Thanks! I'm going to have to give this a try. Sometimes, I find the little buggers on the school's front lawn just hanging out or doing homework while school is still in session. I might have to have my police officers meet all of the kids in town, just in case >:) .
  • Also if you have too many students and they are all crowded around the front entrance and can't get in, eventually they will give up and go do other things.

    This mod might help there:

@KevinL5275 - Thanks for the link. I don't have a problem with over-crowding in my schools because I manually control my populations. I tried the suggestion @igazor made and it works like a charm. Now, in a town like Sunset Valley where there is always overcrowding at the school's front door, I may have to consider taking other steps.
