Graphics Question for playing on Mac

Ok so I finally figured out how to convert my old TS3 game to play on origin on my Mac. Unfortunately, I can only get it to load when I put the graphics down low. I was wondering how high I would be able to put my graphics and still have the game load or if there are any other ways for my computer to run the graphics better. I'm playing on a 2020 Macbook pro, 13 in. Here's the system info (sorry if there's already a topic that talks about this, I was just getting overwhelmed by a lot of the tech lingo in the help threads and not really following it so was wondering if someone could help me more directly)

  • You should be able to push some of the graphics settings above the bare minimum, but you will only be able to take the game so far in that regard with integrated (Intel) graphics. It will also depend how many EPs you have in play as the heavier ones (most notably Pets and Seasons, but possibly also IP and ITF) are only going to perform as well as they can on a dedicated graphics card. I'm afraid this is the same issue that players on Windows face with integrated graphics, although usually Mac users can push things just a bit further.

The new 64-bit version of TS3 that you must be using on Big Sur is probably not helping here as it is not very stable (this differs for different hardware configurations) and the stability is the current trade-off vs. being able to use more than 2 GB of RAM as was the case with the older 32-bit version. But on your operating system, the 64-bit version is the only one that can possibly run.

You may want to post on the TS3 for Mac board at Answers.HQ to see if you get any ideas from others on a similar hardware set, but I think you will likely find that you have a lot of company over there among other players seeing the same or similar things.
