Hair Causing Blue Face Mask

Hi all, me again.
I can only assume that this is due to some dodgy CC but today I noticed this problem.

These are both base game hairs but the second one is applying this awful weird blue face mask. This is happening to seemingly randomly selected Maxis and CC hairs. It must be something to do with some sort of mask applied with the hair but I don't know why this has happened and how bad CC can affect Maxis hairs.
Please can someone help!
  • If it only happened today and only after getting new CC it is easy just uninstall/remove what was added new today.Just go to your list and put it in order of date installed and rid of it.

Do you have a link to the nose rings your sim is using? My initial thought is that they are causing the problem. Have you tried the same hairs without them?

I thought it may be the nose ring too. I had a pair of CC sneakers that turned my sims hands black once, always when she wore them with a certain pair of trousers.

I'm not sure what's causing it, I'd have to take a look at the file first. But, yeah, typically this has to do with textures not getting along.
  • Hi all! I figured it out, it was actually some janky eyebrows haha. The nose ring was also my first thought but I tried removing them and it had no effect, I tried that before posting here when I was stumped!
If you want the facial piercings I use these sets:

    Thank you all!
