I heard Mac version sims 3 doesn't do any affect on the Windows version. I can prove that my sims3 patch version is 1.67 on Windows. I don't open Origin to run the sims 3 on my Windows. I installed all Eps and Sps by DVDs on Windows side. Also I heard from other Mac user that Bootcamp is actually the separate OS, so my Mac Retina doesn't support my Windows system.
