Okay, so i've been playing the sims 3 for quite a few years now, but I have one small problem! Does anybody know what to do about multi-level housing and seeing sims on the second floor when you are on the first floor? It's driving me crazy! I had built a barn and on the second floor i put hay but you can still see the hay when you drop down to the first floor! Same with the sims in my house! idk what to do about it! I've resorted to only having one level houses and I hate that! They take up so much room on the ground and there less room for my paddocks for horses! Please help!

You could also try a global resetsim ("resetsim *") I occasionally see it after using moveobjects too much.

That sim in the picture looks like it is walking down the stairs and is moving into the next level down. My sims appear like this when they are moving between levels.The issue with the objects 'dropping through the floor' to the next level down first started at about the time the world, Lunar Lakes was released.I've got a long list of objects that do this in my game, haven't noticed bales of hay though. My list includes most of the plants found in build mode. I place them carefully so they don't sit directly above a basement. Other objects such as wishing well, roller skating rink etc I have found will not sink below the ground level so I place them only on ground level or the bottom basement level.

I've had this happen before, but it was always either (1) really random occurrence or (2) associated with my use of the moveobjects_on cheat. If I ever have to use move objects, I turn it off as soon as I'm done with the initial problem.

It happens after using poses and moving sims around with moveObjects. MC resets things back to normal again! :)

I have never had this issue before. I only have something similar when I use a pose and then use move objects on on a sim. After a Nraas Master Controller reset lot it goes away. Maybe something you can try here?

Not sure why, but the hay bales (the large stack of them), do what you're saying. I haven't seen the problem with sims, though, and don't know what to suggest.

You by chance don’t use pose player to move them? Sounds like what happens when you pose them and then don’t reset or exit pic the game afterwards
