I mostly lurk around the EP forums and occasionally comment. I noticed the Gifting forum when I became more social with simport and really liked the friendly atmosphere and wonderful simmers that hang out here! (So different from the rage and trolling in some of the other forums!) :lol:

I'm hoping to stick around and maybe take part in some of the creative contests, but that's going to take me a little longer because I'm truly intimidated by all the fantastic, talented people around here. :D

Oh, don't be intimidated. Everyone here had to have a first contest they joined, a first build and/or a first sim, or story they told, and everyone remembers having done it. Of course not everyone can win all of the time but that does not mean people won't like what you enter and you will find out how many do when you see the downloads from the exchange mount up and people comment on your work and give out rec's.

There is really nothing to be scared of here, we all really want to be friends and no one is here to critize but to support what you are doing on the forums. And if you have questions or need advise please feel free to ask.

Now that you are not a lurker anymore (lurkers don't post) its a good time to stay involved. Even if you just can't join a contest yet, you can still post and tell people if you like their entries, give them rec's and, if you want, download and use their creations.

Its really nice to have you here where we know to talk to you - its impossible to know people as friends when they are just lurking :)
