I adition to SW's help about haveing a mix on your wish list I also want to encourges you all to:
a) don't be afraid of a long wish list.... as long as you don't post links to it all over your doing gifters a favor. Personally I love to shop at wish list, picking the item that fits what I want to say or that I just love... more to pick from = more fun for me.
b) NEVER have doubls on your list. By that I mean don't have the item, the set and the subset and the complication on the list... a messy wish list like that I will over look....
let the item be on your list only 1 time... in any form...
read more about that here in this old lottery (IT is NOT running) Squeaky clean wish list lottery http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/539308.page (ended but full of tips and tricks) I'm always happy to try and help clean a wish list... but do try your self first.
A clean wish list helps prevent double purcages... for you and the gifters...
From that thread:
What is a clean wish list?
A clean wish list have no doublets on it, that means you don’t have both the set, the sub set the compaction set and the single item on your list! It means any item will only be 1 time on your list, in any form.
It also means that you to be fair don’t have a set on your list, if you own most the single items already.
If you have truble cleaning:
- try to log in log out
- clean browser
- use other browser
- follow this tip: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/539419.page#8524891 (Thank you SciFiWarlock)
- I also want to add that after you delete or move items around on your wishlist, you can not refresh the page or everything you did will be undone. Click on the red heart near the "My Account" at the top of the page near your user name after you have made the changes to your wishlist. I have read many posts where people are refreshing the page and everything comes back. (Thank you userkitty1969)
And do report your truble to simgururusskii
See this thread http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/537029.page - Page 4
SimGuruRusskii asked us to test our lists and report if any were still having problems. You should post it there. (Thank you Faith)
You can allso use this thread to tell simgururusskii about problems http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/506334.page
